About Our Founder
At the helm of Viresco, Steven McCord leverages his extensive experience to help businesses achieve their goals of energy efficiency, building maintenance, and employee satisfaction. With a strong background in energy engineering and commissioning, Steven brings a wealth of knowledge and a proven track record to every project.
Steven began his career focusing on commissioning and auditing of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems in commercial applications. In this role, he developed an eye for identifying and resolving systemic building issues. Later on, his leadership in a $100 million energy savings performance contract spanning over 3 million square feet was instrumental in achieving over $6 million annually in verified energy and water savings.
With his diverse experience and successful track record, Steven is a formidable partner for struggling building managers/owners to tackle operational challenges. His technical acumen, strategic oversight, and hands-on management enable him to help clients enhance energy efficiency, maintain building systems, and create comfortable environments for employees and tenants.
